You can only be devoted to Being
You can only be bonded to human

Whats that which makes the difference from bondage to devotion?? Whatelse than love. In any relationship, when we are connected to the Being of the other, its that love which transpires as devotion. But generally devotion is mostly related with God whom we have never seen in any human form or its related with Maser-disciple relationship. This is essentially because of the love connected to the Being in the human form. Rarely, we come across such impeccable love being transpired in other relationships. In the name of love, mostly you find only being bonded and they would claim that as great love. Fake has the ability to be deceptive to the extent of super matching the real. Its the fragrance of the real that can never be matched. The fragrance is the liberation that emanates in devotion. Thats why when you come across couple who are truly devoted to each other, you would be filled with its fragrance. We call them devoted couple. This can be felt in all other human relationship also once we learn to connect to the Being. A great feel of liberation is the sign for true love. People may still be existing in all relationships without liberation. This is called bondage, where its two humans who are connected by the nametag of the relationship and will be struggling all the time to hold it together. Bondage lives in fear, insecurity and what not. Liberation is in freedom. You can feel the difference and see the difference when a relationship happens in freedom. let it be a married couple, mother-child, friend or anything, the flavour can never be missed when devoted to the Being.

As long as we care and share in any relationship with more understanding, the air around that relationship will be pure without any pollution. Love should be never be a duty, it should be a flowering.

I agree, merging point. One can feel the tension coming out of a relationship that is not growing, that is coming more out of habit and dependency, than choice. When people mature and love out of choice more than need, it's like magic! Then they share a synergistic energy, instead of stealing energy from each other.

You are so right. Jeff and I have achieved liberation but it was after many years of struggle. It is liberating not to have to worry every second if our love will last, and liberating to enjoy nourishing each other each day with our love and devotion.

To be in relation with another you need to love your Self. Each needs to be whole as an individual. If you are dependent upon the other to complete you, that is co-dependency or in your post "bondage". Two should come together as whole individuals to create a third, a union of the two.
