A recent incident illustrates the deep rootedness of the mind with concepts, blinding the individual from just seeing it as it is... In India, Tulsi plant is considered as sacred and is usually placed in front of the entrance or the backyard entrance. It is generally worshiped in a traditional way with Kumkum and other ritualistic methods. So, it is nothing but natural for many traditionalist to look at it with a special eye than compared to many many other plants. Undoubtedly, the plant is well known for its exceptional herbal and medicinal qualities. Generally, i prefer to manure the plants with naturally available sources from the kitchen such as vegetable peels, egg shells, etc. It so happened that the Tulsi plant too got its share of crushed egg shells along with the rest of the plants.
