Everyday, the pigeons come to drink the water kept in a bowl in the balcony. They take a sip or a dip sometime and sit for a while and take off. Recently, one day, i noticed one pigeon, trying to pull the dried twigs from the base of the palm tree, succeeded sometimes and took it along and came back swiftly to continue in its mission. So it was obvious it is building the nest. But what brought the turn is amazing. After its  trial with palm tree, it moved on to the other pot which had small flowering plant. Though there were no dried twigs for it to collect, it started to pull the fresh green twigs and since it is a small plant, the whole plant was almost getting uprooted. Since the roots were pretty strong , it could not succeed but had done enough damage to shake it . It didnt stop there but now continued to the next level with its intention to collect the twigs to build its nest. Inspired by a blogger friend's post, here i am expanding on the subject. Do we really have a choice to choose the kind of people with whom we are more compatible? if only we can, how lovely it would be, may say the minds of many. When we decide to witness a waterfalls, invariably we need to climb up a mountain. We may choose to go by walk or drive up the hill. The purpose of the journey is to witness and be there at the top of the falls which, let us say, have not seen but have heard from the ones who had been there. The description, excitement and their experience makes us even more eager to reach there. Who may want to miss anything that is full of joy. We begin to start our trek. Looking into the deeper aspects of this system of owning unfolds the beauty of detached attachment. When you truly own, there is no fear of losing or not letting it go when needed. The freedom expressed in the real owning has the unshakable confidence and clarity. In truth, one is aware that it is more like one operating or facilitating. Like for example, it is like having an account in a bank. you own the account and the money in the account too. Yet, when it is time to close the account, you just do it and move on to yet another. You operate the account but yet you are not responsible for the functioning of the bank. This body is like an account in a bank called the universal consciousness . In any relationship, when we are connected to the Being of the other, its that love which transpires as devotion. But generally devotion is mostly related with God whom we have never seen in any human form or its related with Maser-disciple relationship. This is essentially because of the love connected to the Being in the human form. Rarely, we come across such impeccable love being transpired in other relationships. An interesting insight into the hidden depths of this wonder word. Independent -- lets open up this box. The two coins that emerge are 1. Intra Dependant - within 2. Inter Dependant - outside When we look at the word on the surface level, independent , how misleading it is, as though it indicates "Not dependant at all". This is the language of the mind. The inner meaning of this wonder word is the freedom to travel between the Intra to Inter and vice versa . A truly independent person is one who can keep travelling between the two worlds --the inner and the outer. This reminds me of the meaning of Peace and Silence. Generally, it is said, "I am at Peace" -- indicating the outside world. Whereas , it is said, " I am in Silence"-- the inner world.
