~ Presence ~

"Servant" is what the label the society has offered her for all the great help she does in completing the household chores. To me she is just another extended member of our family....

may i call it as sheer blessing, when she happened to step into our home and asked me if i need a servant. Quiet and clean work is all that she offers. she never gave me a chance to point out any work to be done or even redone, rather left me wondered the way she moves around with work and leaves me filled with immense gratitude.

when i offer the cup of coffee everyday morning as soon as she comes, the time she spends drinking that coffee is a moment to watch...an unusual calmness and simply being total with that drinking. she is in no hurry to gulp it down as many who belong to her community may do.

today, she surprised me even more, when she picked up that cup of coffee and walked to the living room balcony which has a wonderful view, spent those few, yet quiet moments sipping the coffee and returned back to continue the work... i may not be sure if she was aware of her actions but am doubly sure with the way The Divine presents its abundant presence.

End of the day, all that remains is simply to answer the question,"are we present to the presence of Divinity everywhere and in everyone ?" Its our awareness that opens the vision to the moment.

May the benediction be bestowed to be in the Divinity and may we be grateful to all The Great Masters!

Hello MP,

First of all... it is sooooooooooooooooooo good to hear from you... t see yo share something in this ether... thank you... yesterday.. I had the occasion while on a movie set to peruse blogs or go blogging, and I saw this and was happy I did...

Secondly, I love the simplicity of this, it seems just straight from the heart and close to home... gratitude and the simple things in life, what more is there, right? Yet we make things so much more complicated us beings than they should be.

I miss hearing from you and being inspired by your life pearls.

Have a beautiful day...

Namaste,

Ruthie

Dear Ruthie,

thankyou for sharing your joy and rightly pointing out the essence..

gratitude and the simple things in life, what more is there, right?

Exactly, thats what fulfillment is all about, i feel, present everywhere, anytime, right within...

"Life pearls"... love the way you said...yes, pearls indeed and blessed we are when benediction lets us discover the unseen string that connects them all...one single Divine garland!

Merging Point,
you made a such a good point in this post, at least to me. We tend to get so involved in our work, we just do it. Your servant is one with the work, and her calmness and acting is something today's society needs and work would be done 100% better.

On the side note, hope you are doing well. Best wishes your way. Anna :)

True in a way, Anna! Involved in work is onething and getting lost in it only and not aware of the surrounding is yet another thing.

But, a real worker is one who gives a 100% to work and yet be aware of the surrounding...

Thankyou for your presence and as always, it is a pleasure to hear you sharing your thoughts.

Hello Merging Point,

Wonderful to read your thoughts,as always speaking to the divine presence in everyday experience. It is a gift we give to ourselves to attend to the blessings that are always shown to us,if we see with our divine sight.

Thanks for this lovely insight.

Namaste!

Beautifully said, Miruh!
Thankyou for your Divine presence!
Yad Bhavam. Tad Bhavati. When the transformation into silence and space happens within, we begin to see that without! Nice description!
