~ Union ~

Yet another dance show to witness and experience the communion. Not just performance on stage but that which involves competition, elimination too!

Rules that existed but could never bind these two in their expressions. They had crossed the boundary of the mind, probably where rule can't rule. The theme was "romantic round" and indeed it was the ultimate expression of union in love. It appeared as though the guy had the major work of lifting the girl and dancing(apparently, they were not real couple). No doubt, it is an additional weight on himself while moving around. But the truth, the girl too had played a major role in letting herself be uplifted so gracefully and probably that's why none could notice the moment of lift and drop. It was watching two flowing into each other and just emerging as ONE.

When the dance came to a graceful conclusion, everyone even forgot to clap in appreciation for a moment because it was The Silence that pervaded and had drowned every being. Judges were in a loss for words and just said, "it is so complete".

Many times in our lives too, this opportunity of dancing in union and flowing into each other(me and myself) knocks at our door. In fact, it exists everywhere -- just with the smile of a baby, the swaying of the leaves, the chirping of the birds...etc.The Divine is willing to play the role of the guy -- lift and swirl. But , how much do we let ourselves to be lifted, in other words, how much do we let ourselves let go??? When we ponder, we discover the blocks that may turn out to be in that merging to emerge as ONE. Surrendering to the Divine --The Big guy(real you), the dance happens and the dancers dissolve!

What you express here resonates far and wide. Opportunity s all around every human being. It is like an orb of light that awaits acknowledgement and definition. Thank you for your candid reflections. They are soulful and inspiring!

Thankyou Liara!
It just depends on our availability to the ever existing Divine(in and out). may not probably come into the realm of definition and acknowledgement too. it is just there...

Merging Point, letting go in the past been hard, but it is much better now. Great post as always, Anna :)

Dear Anna -- the awareness on that not "letting go" is vital and once it dawns, yes, it becomes much easier as it goes.
Thank you for your comments.

Merging point, I can think of many instances where 'letting go' no longer seems to come naturally to people. What is perhaps ironic is that difficulty is learned and simplicity is direction of any natural flow of energy. Why do you think human beings choose to swim like salmon, against the current? Perhaps because they can?

against the current or along the current, whaat one has to really look into is --how much natural is the flow?
There is no doing (can or cant)when natural flow is let to happen.
A BRILLIANT concept, Merging Point. I always love your posts. It is more fun to dance with someone than alone. So much more rewarding. I love the idea of God lifting us up. That was quite a visual.

Love the new blog template. :D

"I love the idea of God lifting us up." --- Not some God outside us but THAT which is very much within us.
