Moving from the Interpreting mind
To the Integrated Self is Harmony
The very word resonates a sense of completeness. From childhood, we have learnt the meaning of the word as "there is no flaw and everything is perfect". Also, we are taught to relate this beautiful word to the outside -- people and situations. Rarely, we come across to relate to the significance of the inner self.
when two people are found to share a non-complaining and satisfying relationship, then we address them as someone who is in harmony with each other. Mostly, harmony is used to describe two entities that share the platform of comfort ability. Be it nature, people or situations -- it is always with something other than one's own self wherein the word finds its usage.
When such a division arises, it is a clear indication that the mind comes into play. The mind is too good in interpreting and defining it with wonder words. One just needs to be smart to know the mind and move to the next zone, The Self. In fact, in the zone of the mind, the word "Harmony" can mislead because it is impossible to expect the same from everyone. We don't look for mangoes in a lemon tree. But, unfortunately, the human mind looks for the same comfort abilitywith everyone and when that response gets shaken, it is considered as not in harmony.
When we learn to move from this interpreting mind to the integrated self, we find the harmony that resides right within. Self related can be only ONE. There is no division. The self helps to see through the mind the differences that exist outside, but then, it knows well to relate. No longer it will look for a mango(smile) in a lemon(snob) tree. So, relating becomes easier and life goes on with varied opportunities to relate with. The true harmony reveals itself in one's own comfort ability with one's own self. There is no contradiction and conflict within.
In harmony, the Self flows smoothly through the mind as expressions in the world. There is abundant acceptance of everything that exists outside as what it is . Connecting to the self is the true harmony.

A harmony of notes
Of all different scales and pitch
Dancing together in euphony
That embraces sound and silence
