~ Pretend ~

Pre + tension = Pretension
Self explanatory! There are two ways of pretending. One to make a living, another to block living.

Making a living -- An actor on stage has to pretend to portray the character on stage or screen. The mind is involved but its not caught with the character. Its a mask worn to earn his living, yes he gets well paid if he plays the role very well. There is a pre tension in this too but gets dissolved with the character. There are no impressions or residue left in the realm of the mind, no matter its joy or sorrow. The entire concept works on the surface. Infact he would be looked at differently only if he carries on the same character in real life too. Knowing its a play, wears the mask, plays it well and gets rewarded very well too!

Block living -- shifting gears, looking at the reality -- day to day living! Here too many time, people get caught in the mask, let the responses and reactions seep deep down as memories and impressions and get heavily paid as emotions -- joy and sorrow! Either one gets carried away by the joy or swayed by the sorrow. especially when it hits as a reaction, the damage is tremendous. It not only stops the individual from living but can block the other from entering too. The rewards here are stress, insecurity, fear, health, relationship problems etc. Its a huge block into the entry of one's own resources, fails to let one identify the black pockets, open and purify. Its a forever block on the freeflow.

Its vital to know to wear the mask as on stage in real life too! The reward would be celebration! Festivals are here to imbibe such subtle messages like sharing and celebration.

Pretend to play the role and live a life full of celebration!

Hi MP,

wishing you and your family the Merriest of Christmases...

I had a severe block in my energy... recently...

It's important not let anything obstruct the flow... how right you are... and believe me I know... it doesn't feel so good... literally...

Regards,

Ruthie

dear Ruth, thank you for the wishes and love to you and your family on this Christmas!
mmm... the moment you have identified the block, then no worry...its the beginning to the flow...next time, it lets us identify even before a block happens....

Merging Point, I have to say - how do you come up with the ideas to write, this is really good. To comment on this post, life would be much easier if we did not wear mask, and be who we are, and I think we would be much heapier, and like you said live a life full of celebration. I myself went through few changes in life (mainly during my highschool), it all started with make up, which eventually was gone, lol. Sometimes we pretend to put these masks to make us popular, tried in highschool, but did not last very long, so I am glad that I realized that at early age and did not fell under the pretend mode. Great post, and brings lot of memories back for myself and how all evolved around me for the good or for the bad. Thanks, Anna :)

Just some experiences watching oneself and others too that blossom into contemplations...just that even i dont know when it wishes to express...many times i read them again as though reading for the first time...
